Managing Menopause
All women will experience menopause. For most, this will occur between the ages of 45-55. While menopause is a natural and healthy process that marks the end of a women’s reproductive years, it can be troublesome for some with changes in hormones triggering a range of symptoms.
Menopause and perimenopause can affect physical health, mental wellbeing, sleep, energy levels, concentration, confidence, and emotional regulation. These symptoms can contribute to psychosocial risks in the workplace by increasing stress, fatigue, anxiety, and challenges with workplace participation and performance.
