Men's Hormonal Health Service

Men's Hormonal Health Support provides clinical guidance and practical strategies to help you manage the physical and emotional impacts of age-related hormonal changes, supporting your wellbeing, resilience and capacity for work.

Managing hormonal changes for men

All men experience a gradual decline in testosterone levels with age, often referred to as andropause. For most men, this begins between the ages of 35–60. While this is a natural part of ageing, for some men the hormonal changes can cause a range of symptoms from mild to debilitating, affecting energy, mood, sleep, physical and sexual health, and overall wellbeing.

Changes in hormonal health may also contribute to psychosocial risks in the workplace by affecting resilience, mental wellbeing, fatigue, confidence, and an individual's ability to manage daily demands at work and home.
